We are committed to protecting your privacy and collecting only the information reasonably necessary to provide and support the Reporting Platform.

To provide the Reporting Platform we collect information including:

Accounting data imported from authorised accounting systems.
Report distribution email addresses.

Information is used solely to provide, maintain and support the Reporting Platform and the services requested by our customers.

Synchronise authorised accounting information.

Provide technical support and maintain the operation of the Reporting Platform.

3. Accounting Information

When you connect an accounting organisation to Inside Analytics, you authorise the Reporting Platform to access accounting information made available through the authorised accounting-system connection.

For Xero connections, authentication takes place directly with Xero using Xero's official authorisation process.

Inside Analytics does not receive or store your Xero username or password. These credentials are entered directly with Xero.

Accounting information obtained through the authorised connection is processed for the purpose of providing reporting and related services to the customer.

4. Information We Do Not Share

We do not sell personal information.
We do not rent customer information.
We do not share information with advertisers.
We do not use your accounting information for marketing purposes.
We do not perform behavioural tracking.

5. Third-Party Services

The Reporting Platform communicates with supported accounting systems only after you have granted authorisation.

Authentication is performed using the accounting provider's official authorisation process. Your accounting system login credentials are never stored by Inside Analytics.

6. Data Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures designed to protect your information against unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration, loss or destruction.

Encrypted connections.
Secure password hashing.
Role-based access controls.
Secure session management.
Measures designed to prevent unauthorised access to customer information.

7. Data Retention

Information is retained only for as long as necessary to provide the Reporting Platform and to meet applicable legal or operational requirements.

Customers may request the removal of their account and associated personal information, subject to applicable legal obligations.

8. Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of or deletion of your personal information, subject to applicable legislation.

If you believe any personal information we hold is inaccurate, please contact us so that it can be corrected.

You may also have the right to object to certain processing of your personal information, subject to applicable legislation.

9. Complaints

If you believe that your personal information has been processed unlawfully or that your privacy rights have been infringed, you may contact Inside Analytics so that the matter can be investigated.

You may also lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator of South Africa where permitted by applicable legislation.
